The Begonia Maculata showcases stunning green, wing-shaped leaves adorned with playful silver spots, giving it a uniquely eye-catching look. The undersides of the leaves are a deep reddish-purple, adding a rich contrast. This beautiful plant can grow up to 2 feet tall and may even bloom with clusters of delicate white flowers.
Light Instructions for Begonia Maculata
Begonia Maculata thrives in bright, indirect light and can also adapt to bright direct light if managed carefully. While it loves strong sunlight, too much direct exposure can scorch or fade its beautiful silver spots. Placing it by an east- or west-facing window all year round, or a south-facing window during winter, will provide the ideal lighting. If exposed to direct sunlight without a filter, ensure there’s some distance to avoid burning. Adding a sheer curtain can help diffuse intense light, keeping your Begonia healthy and vibrant. Avoid low-light areas, as these can stunt growth.

- If the vase or container shown online is not available, a similar item of equal or greater value will be substituted.
- In the event that we need to make a substitution, we will contact you via email or phone to inform you of the change. (If we are not able to reach you by the time we arrange the order, our designer will make the decision for you.)
- If you have specific requirements or preferences for your order, please let us know in the comments section of your order. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, but please understand that some substitutions may still be necessary.
